Our
beef is priced at "freezer weight" or what you will actually
be putting into your freezer. These prices can be compared directly to
what you see in your supermarket for either "Natural beef" or
grass-fed (pastured) beef.
Price:
Side of beef: $6 per pound freezer weight
Each side of beef will provide approximately 120 pounds
for meat:
12 pounds of sirloin steak
15 pounds for T-bone, club and rib chop steaks
8 pounds of round steaks
5 pounds of brisket
2 pounds of flank (fajita) steak
30 pounds of roast
30 pounds of ground beef
8 pounds of ribs
6 pounds of beef shank
stew meat, skirt steak
Quarter of beef : Each quarter is approximately 60 pounds
Front Quarter: $5 per pound (brisket, ribs, skirt steak, flank
(fajita) steak, rib chop steaks, chuck roast, and ground beef)
Hind Quarter: $7 per pound (T-bones, club steaks, sirloin steaks,
rump roast, round steaks, ground beef)
Most of the steaks come from the hind quarter, while the front quarter
provides more roasts and variety.
Ground Beef : (50 lb. minimum):
85% Lean - $4.50 per pound
95% Lean - $5 per pound
Ground beef patties: ½ pound, 1/3 pound or ¼ pound
per patty - $6 per pound
